How does a shower toilet work?
The shower toilet combines a classic toilet with a bidet shower function. The water comes out of a shower arm with nozzles, which remains concealed during use. After using the toilet, the shower arm extends at the touch of a button and cleans the genital area with a gentle jet of water. Some models offer a drying function. The shower toilet uses fresh drinking water for cleaning, which is also used for flushing the toilet. This water is of high quality in Germany and safe for intimate hygiene.

A shower toilet requires both a water connection and a power connection. This is used to operate the ComfortDry hairdryer function, the water heating and the wall panel for controlling your shower toilet.
How do you use a shower toilet?
Using a shower toilet is easier than many people think. As it is a combined product, you first sit on the toilet as usual. After using the toilet, flush so that the toilet is clean. Now press the button for the shower function.
The shower arms or nozzles now extend and cleanse your intimate area with a warm, gentle jet of water. With many models, you can choose from several presets and decide for yourself exactly how you want the water to feel. After cleaning, the jets retract, leaving your intimate area clean and refreshed
Cleaning with toilet paper is not necessary. If your shower toilet has the ComfortDry hairdryer function, switch it on at the touch of a button. Your genital area will be gently dried with air. If there is no such function, you can dry yourself with a soft terry towel. Then put the towel in the wash.
Why are shower toilets particularly hygienic?
Germs don't stand a chance with a high-quality shower toilet. Firstly, your body is hygienically cleaned. In addition, the nozzles on the shower arm are self-cleaning so that no bacteria are left behind. The ViClean shower toilets are also rimless. Here, too, nothing can build up in the long term.
