Designing cosy bathrooms - tips & ideas
There are various ways to make your bathroom cosy. We'll tell you what's important:
How to make a small bathroom cosy
A small bathroom can easily be made cosy. Large-format tiles make a small, cosy bathroom look a little larger. They also give the room more tranquillity as there are fewer joints. A uniform colour scheme and lots of natural materials create a cosier feel.
Challenge: Making a large bathroom cosy
It can be difficult to create a cosy atmosphere in large bathrooms. An effective solution is to cleverly separate different areas, as already explained in the room dividers. Use different colours in the different areas to visually break up the space. Indirect lighting arrangements are also a good idea. They can be controlled individually so that you only illuminate the area in the bathroom that you use.
Create a relaxed atmosphere with warm light
The right light in the bathroom is essential for the right feel-good atmosphere. Daylight is of course the first choice, but not every bathroom has a window. This is where warm lighting comes into play. Indirect light sources provide atmospheric accents.
