Basic cleaning after construction work: Responsibilities explained

The basic cleaning takes place after the building has been accepted in order to make the newly renovated or remodelled rooms ready for occupancy and habitable. The last traces of dirt and dust are removed from all objects and surfaces so that the rooms are left tread-proof and safe. Each tradesperson is responsible for cleaning their own area of work and removes coarse dirt once the work has been completed. Detailed basic cleaning is carried out by the owner or an external cleaning service provider.
