Test report 4: The hygiene champion is a great product

Flushing is more intensive and cleaner than in a conventional WC. We hardly need any cleaner now. The hygiene champ's DirectFlush system flushes everything away. Cleaning the hygiene champ takes less time. The seat with Soft Closing function is a great feature, which our son, Marlon, is also crazy about. We have lost count of how many times he has opened and closed the WC lid, but the mechanism is as good as new and nothing is worn out – GREAT.
We got our friends, grandma and grandpa so interested in the hygiene champ that they visited Villeroy & Boch's website to inform themselves and read all the other test reports.
The assistance provided by Villeroy & Boch in the run-up to and during the test and the way it was handled right from the first day were perfect. The contact we had with the company was very friendly - it would be a pleasure to repeat it in the future. The installation was unproblematic and the fitter was very friendly. The test weeks were generally very interesting and the entire product test was great fun.

Our friends were very impressed by the Hygiene Champion. Of course they have been following all the reports on the Villeroy&Boch campaign site.
Not even 5 minutes here and the Hygiene Champion had already been tested. Our friend was amazed by the flushing behaviour, he hadn’t seen this type of flushing yet. His comment was "Completely clean all the way round". He also liked the design very much. A perfect seating feeling, unlike a conventional WC seat. After his positive feedback, our son Marlon ran immediately into the bathroom with his friend and showed him the great Soft Closing feature. "Dad, I also want a lid like this", he called down from above. :-)
An impressive quality
Everyone showed great enthusiasm and our friends were astonished by our reports – from installation up to now. They even asked us about the price and whether there are other hygiene models from Villeroy&Boch. Reactions to the slightly higher seating position were also positive. Our friends said "You do see the benefits”, but they wouldn’t replace their WC extra now. However, should it become necessary for their WC to be replaced, our friends would definitely opt for the Hygiene Champion from Villeroy&Boch – because its quality speaks for itself.
Test report 2: Even our son is thrilled with the Soft Closing function

This is because he can no longer get his fingers squashed. We were a little sceptical about the test with the blued liquid, but there were no residues after flushing. The beading effect was confirmed 100%. The Quick Release function for the WC seat is a pleasant feature, as optimum cleaning of the areas that were difficult to reach is no longer a problem. Removing the seat is a doddle; putting it back on requires a little more skill as the holes have to be aligned with the bolts. However, this does not impair the stability and safety of the WC in any way. Even after a week, we didn't notice any deposits under the rim.
The DirectFlush technology also flushes the entire bowl of the Subway 2.0 sufficiently with water. Cleaning is much easier, which is probably due to the beading effect. No drops of water splash over the bowl, even when flushing with an open lid. I don't have any concerns whatsoever with regard to hygiene, even if guests suddenly turn up. We hardly use any cleaning agents as we use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
Test report 1: Quick to install and perfect for the bathroom!

Our hygiene champion has just been installed. The plumber was thorough, orderly and clean. I was particularly thrilled that he covered the entire bathroom with painter cover fleece. The installation was smooth and fast.
The design and look of the new toilet fit in perfectly with our bathroom and after about two days we had completely forgotten our old one. We really like the rounded form of Subway 2.0 and the identical lid with Soft-Close function. The toilet seat stability leaves a good impression and the seat is comfortable. It sits higher than our old toilet, which is very comfortable. We also have the impression that flushing with the open-rim hygiene champion is much cleaner and more consistent than with a standard toilet.
